Mar 21, 2010 - i have seen videos and videos..but this was shocking.. you want to help him....but you know you cant do anything. its so cruel watching someone..dying helpless. with this kind of death. (i felt my breath stopping for a while while watching this). damn

Ryanxxxxxxxxxxx720 Says:

Mar 21, 2010 - wait im confused so he went to the bottom and somehow became entangled with the sand and died? That makes no sense.

sum1uallno Says:

Mar 21, 2010 - If you look closer you will see a shadow of something that looks like a fin. Perhaps he was drug under.

HOHNancy Says:

Mar 21, 2010 - Never mind about my question on the 5:15 mark....someone here said it is his arm...I agree...you can see the computer on his arm that was shown earlier.

HOHNancy Says:

Mar 21, 2010 - @MPG350 I agree...it looks like he had a seizure (the sand and equipment flying in the water).

qunabita Says:

Mar 21, 2010 - they are idiots he probably got entangled in the whip coral shown in the video right before he stops moving and he then probably ran out of air and died or narcosis killed him .... poor guy ill pray for him

HOHNancy Says:

Mar 21, 2010 - I am very sorry about what happened to him...I have to ask, I noticed something at 5:15...what was that? If it is not a shark, then what was it?

1010101ish Says:

Mar 21, 2010 - he wasnt just narc'd as f**k, unless he was on some type of tri mix the O2 toxicity would have killed him somewhere around 60M

B1ack0utO1 Says:

Mar 21, 2010 - That Sucks pray for his family.

merrittmegan100 Says:

Mar 21, 2010 - i dont know anything about this diving stuff but it a shame what a awful way to go i pray for him and his family

Chrisxulo Says:

Mar 21, 2010 - That's the effect of Nitrogen narcosis

chezz77snitch Says:

Mar 21, 2010 - shit

ouchbejabbers Says:

Mar 21, 2010 - @ShadyNJ Nitrogen narcosis. It has the same affect as hard drugs and can totally confuse a diver so up, down, left and right have no meaning.

xdcmasterx Says:

Mar 21, 2010 - When diving on standard air at a depth of 90 meters, the narcosis will be so severe that a person can lose all survival instinct. There have been cases reported where people have been so narced as to remove the regulator from their mouth and offer it to a fish.

gunchibaiyya Says:

Mar 21, 2010 - The video records 17:09:56 and jumps directly to 17:11:03. Some crucial bit is not shown in this video.

royalty98 Says:

Mar 21, 2010 - i believe that he was attacked by like a shark or a monster...down there...

ShadyNJ Says:

Mar 21, 2010 - I can't stop thinking the same thing. Something keeps telling me its his weights that are the problem. But then again....your right, the weights aren't set on super lock on around your belt....what was the problem.

lHashl Says:

Mar 21, 2010 - yeah i don't understand why he did not release the wieghts, other that maybe he couldn't when he knew the end was near, maybe it's how he wanted to die, idk.

irich62 Says:

Mar 21, 2010 - he died because his dumbass went where he isn't supposed to go! He found out he's not part fish - case closed!

aircrusan Says:

Mar 21, 2010 - If you listen at the video it saids that the deathman was a diveinstructor so I think it hasn't to be with an inexperience problem...

bella921361 Says:

Mar 21, 2010 - "peruse1234 A word or ten to you who are insulting each other and cursing on this video response, please cease and desist. A man died here..."..agreed. i like learning from peoples comments..the rest of it is just trash. Imagine yourself alone, in the dark, in pain, and in a panic before you die..Then imagine people watching it and seeing the comments. Go hate on eachother somewhere else, this isn't a chat room.

BigMuzzaWilson Says:

Mar 21, 2010 - I put it down to nitrogen narcosis which made him think that going to 100m on AIR was a good idea.

ShadyNJ Says:

Mar 21, 2010 - Weights to me is the clear factor in his demise, thats all. Divers use weights to descend under control. Don't listen to the noobs on this post givin u a hard time. I'm just saying this man clearly look inexperienced and it seems the more the weights took him down the more he panicked.

chilledkirby Says:

Mar 21, 2010 - 3:33 those actually aren't shouts for help. Anyone who's ever dived past where their sinuses are comfortable knows that people make some WEIRD sounds when they try to pop their ears. For most people it sounds like that, or like a dog whimpering.

chilledkirby Says:

Mar 21, 2010 - I have had many dives, many lessons, and many accidents. I don't see what this guy's issue was, or why the hell he intentionally went down to almost 300 feet. Do you have any idea as to what went wrong other then general mess ups on the diver's part? Perhaps he over-weighted his belt, but he could have just quick released?
