Mar 19, 2010 - edfreen P-factor begins the time you bring the plane ( prop) up to full throttle and begin your take off roll, you better be right rudder ( depending rotation ) or your going to left feild. Cant speak from experience on the floats but I would think a right crosswind would call for more than normal right rudder not only for the factor of more surface for the wind to act on but also you have to overcome current which is usually going with the wind. Hope they all walked away, planes replaceable
